Brightshores Health System (formerly Grey Bruce Health Services) since 2019

Background

BAS had been working with Brightshores Health System (formerly Grey Bruce Health Services) since 2019. Our initial series of successful projects were with the Owen Sound Hospital Foundation. We were then invited to work with the balance of the hospitals within the System, - Meaford, Wiarton, Lions Head, Saugeen and Markdale, with Markdale being a new build project. Our deliverables for all hospital sites included planning/consultation, coordination and design of all recognition components, production, project management, fabrication, and installation.​

Approach

BAS worked closely with all the Foundation heads to create a series of recognition signage for all of the hospital sites that was brand forward, yet distinct to their location.

Solution

A key component to all sites was to have each Foundation reach out to their local communities’ patrons who specialized in local photography. By using local imagery, it allowed for striking visual backdrops behind each of the donor walls.

Working from site and floor plans, elevations, and architectural, interior design and engineering drawings, we created a 35’ long Wall of Recognition, consisting of their Cumulative, Endowment, Annual, and Legacy walls, along with the provision of lettering and plaques for their Major Gift Program.
